I’m fascinated with the play of rhythm, depth and light, juxtaposing discord and harmony. I paint with flowing brush strokes rich in color. My manner of painting is intuitive and my relationship with color is tactile erotic. The subject matter of my work generally refers to intentions or feelings. Painting is the process of emoting and how I cope with intent. Many of my themes reflect parallels in natural environments and the human psyche. Often mirroring the complex constellations of relationships and their similarities with abundant nature. I explore the varying facets in terms of color, gesture and texture of the material. My goal is to maintain the integrity of the material in such a way that the works are alive and appear to change or move. My works include a broad spectrum of colors and layers. A successful work stimulates the viewers imagination through participation. Each project often consists of multiple works.
